Doctor & Staff Profiles

Drs. Dan & Julie Necker, D.D.S. both earned their dental degrees from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in Iowa City, Iowa in 1984. They received their bachelor’s degrees from the University of Iowa as well, with majors in chemistry and biology. After graduating from dental school in 1984 they moved to Austin where they began their dental practices. Both doctors update their dental education on a regular basis to keep up with the latest techniques. They have two children and are active in school and church activities.

Chris, Jessica (hygienist), Heidi, and Danielle make up our clinical staff; they are fantastic! They enjoy working with patients to improve their dental health and make the dental visit a pleasant one.

Our office administrators Claudia, Lena, and Valerie are extremely knowledgeable about all dental procedures and the cost involved with each treatment. They are happy to help you with your dental benefits and any processing of your insurance claims if you happen to have dental insurance.

They will fully explain and set up financial arrangements before treatment is started. They are also responsible for scheduling appointments (times reserved just for you). They also will call you as a courtesy to help remind you of your appointments and keep you on track with your regular continuing care and maintenance visits.

Dr. Sofia Luque, D.D.S. is our children's (pediatric) dentist. She comes to our office from her pediatric training in Alabama. Dr. Luque is from Peru and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She seeks to keep up with the latest clinical research and practices employing the most current and effective treatments in use today. Dr. Luque is trained and certified in the treatment of special needs patients, including sign language for the hearing impaired. Dr. Luque is married to her husband, Brandon, since 2007. She enjoys traveling, cooking, outdoor activities, and spending time with family.
